FAQ
1. What is the difference between the Flex ER Hub and the Flex ER Belt models?
The Flex ER has the option of two different drive trains: Belt drive train and Hub drive train. Here are the differences:
- The Flex ER Belt torque is more than the Flex ER Hub torque, so it's slightly easier riding the board uphill.
- There is a larger variety of wheels that can be installed on the Flex ER Belt compared to the Flex ER Hub.
- Riding the Flex ER Hub is quieter than the Flex ER Belt. The FLEX ER Belt makes a bit of noise.
Aside from the drive train, the specs are similar and the drive train is swappable.
2. Is this skateboard waterproof?
The water-resistance of the skateboard is IP55, which is resistant to splashes and dust under normal conditions, but if you ride in a puddle or where the water level is high, or even immerse your skateboard in water, the water is likely to enter the electrical parts and cause damage.
Please do not ride in the rain or any wet ground with water, this will cause a high risk of water damage and may cause the motor bearings to rust and make noise.
